Department of General Surgery
The department of General Surgery uses techniques to investigate and/or treat pathological conditions Such as disease or injury, to help improve bodily function or appearance.
The Department of Surgery provides surgical care and teaching. The Department of surgery has five surgical units with adequate faculty and has four units and provides high quality, affordable, surgical care in the outpatient, inpatient and emergency surgical settings. Besides patient care, the department trains undergraduate and postgraduate students in Surgery. The Department provides Advanced Surgeries like “Laparoscopic Surgeries (appendectomy, cholecystectomy, diagnostic laparoscopy) Endoscopy- Upper GI (Diagnostic, Therapeutic), Colonoscopy (Diagnostic, Therapeutic).
